debate talk tomorrow night. mitt romney says he's going to repeal obama care and replace it with something to keep people from being uninsured. but an analysis from the commonwealth fund shows mitt romney would leave 72 million more people uninsured, 12 million higher than before obama care. recently mitt romney said his campaign never ran any intentionally false advertising. we have been ab chutely spot-on, he said. any time there's anything that's been a miss we correct it or remove it. i kind of talk like romney, don't i? this is coming from a guy whose first campaign ad against barack obama presented a quote about john mccain and pretended that president obama was saying it about himself. they defended the ad as honest. romney is running on his business create. he says he created 100,000 jobs as the ce ork as bain. he claimed he had no involvement with managing bain after 1999. but wait a minute. sec filings show him as the ceo and sole stake holder in the company for three additional years. now during those years, what happened? thousands of people were laid off in t

of the points romney brought up on wednesday night. points he probably would have liked to have made wednesday night, but he's rolling them out now. one of those points taking issue with romney's claim that he would slash the deficit by trimming funding to public television, including big bird. of course, that's become a big laugh line now. president obama saying elmo better watch out. he also had a new line of attack today. he brought up the fact that mitt romney had essentially said his health care plan would include funding pre-existing conditions. that's a claim that the romney campaign has walked back. today president obama said that mitt romney was fact checked by his own campaign, so we're seeing a feistier more aggressive president obama certainly than we saw on wednesday night. >> and the president's advisers, kristin, say that they will likely make some adjustments before the next debate. is it fair to assume that the president may become slightly more aggressive at the next one? >> reporter: i think that it's a fairly safe assumption. one of his top advisers said they're going to ta

romney and barack obama are holed up in last-minute debate prep for tomorrow night's main event. speaking to a volunteer nevada yaeds, president obama made it sound like a college cram session minus the no doze and pizza. >> basically they're keeping me indoors all the time. it's a drag. they're making me do my homework. >> governor romney, however, may have twice the work load. he'll have two opponents on stage tomorrow, president obama and himself. eugene robinson write in "the washington post" -- it prompts to be an epic clash. mitt romney versus mitt romney. oh. and president obama will be there too. this conundrum of what we'll call the paradox of the mittens, dates back to 1994 when senator ted kennedy dropped this debate heat rock. >> on the question of the choice issue, i have supported the row v raid wade, i am pro choice, my opponent is multiple choice. >> so which bubble will the multiple choice candidate fill in on tomorrow night's test? which mitt will triumph on stage. even members of the conservative establishment aren't sure. bill o'reilly conceded mitt romney is a mystery

's tuesday, october 2nd, 2012. i'm chloyce talbott. mitt romney landed in colorado last night and scored the endorsement of the big guy. the legendary quarterback and now executive vice president of football operations john elway. it was the only scheduled talk. it was a stealth bomber in the background there. romney tried to tamp down expectations in the back. >> people want to know who is going to win? who is going to score the punches and who is going to make the biggest difference in the arguments they make? in my view, it's not so much winning or losing or even the people themselves. it's about something bigger than that. these debates are an opportunity for each of us to describe the pathway forward for america that we would choose. >> playing off the enthusiastic crowd. romney had lines for the base. may even tested out a few zingers we might hear wednesday night. >> this is a home to focus on the family which is committed to preserving the foundation of america. we have to get the pipe laine from canada if i have to build it myself. >> it will kill america's entrepreneurship. >>

strategist. what's your overall assessment? >> i think it was a great night for mitt romney. i think the doom and gloom that's been hanging over the romney campaign, republicans in general has lifted tonight. i think that the democratic advance which began literally a month ago when clint eastwood walked out on stage ended tonight. i think the race is going to tighten. i think mitt romney was in command of this from the beginning. i'm not sure that he lost an exchange during the entire debate. a startling performance in my view and just the context of how good mitt romney was tonight. >> i thought that in terms of individual exchanges i think what may have been most notable, there wasn't i think a single direct attack against mitt romney from president obama. however, they substantively dealt with policy matters. >> he was looking down tonight. he was passive. he was abstract in his answers. mitt romney was talking about real people, giving real examples. i thought he was clear. he was concise. i think the president was muddled tonight. i just wonder, we talked about this earlier. when you're
